By adding the front roof covering, the vertical lines were cut and the entry was made much more dramatic.  The walkway was centered to make visitors feel like they are being directed to the entry rather than pushed up against the garage. The out of date block was stuccoed to update the whole house.

The fireplace area had a wood-burning stove in front of the slump stone as the focal point to the great room before renovation.

During the remodel, we redesigned this focal point to include a flat screen TV niche, gas fireplace and decorative display niches.  Painting the windows made a totally updated look.  New light fixtures, carpeting and removing the popcorn ceiling completed the total room transformation.



This fireplace and bookcase entertainment wall looked outdated and spoiled the whole look of this wonderful pine-top view home.


After replacing the tile with granite, removing the upper cabinetry, and building in some new niches, this entertainment wall makes the whole house feel more updated!
